David Hale is the President & Principal of our firm. David moved to Fairbanks in 1977, graduated from North Pole High School, and was a member of the Plumber and Pipe Fitters Local 375 until 1986 when he changed careers and joined Corroon and Black Dawson Insurance, which later became Willis of Alaska. David was president and CEO of the Alaska operations for Fairbanks and Anchorage until 2007 when he acquired the Fairbanks office book of business and formed Hale & Associates.
David specializes in providing coverage for governmental & public entities, as well as contractors. His comprehensive knowledge of risk management, the construction industry, and commercial insurance and bonding as a whole, makes David a true asset to our agency.
David’s community and industry involvement include past president of the Alaska Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers (2000 & 2008), member and past board member of Associated General Contractors of Alaska, Alliance, and Interior Youth Basketball. Additionally, he serves as the Chair of the Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce Finance Committee and a member of the Executive Committee. David is also active in many other civic organizations and is a proud & generous supporter of our community.
David is married with two children and enjoys spending his free time coaching/watching basketball and relaxing at his beautiful cabin on the Richardson Clearwater River.
